Waterloo Venue & Events is Cookeville, TN’s hidden gem — a premier destination surrounded by breathtaking waterfalls, peaceful creeks, and serene swimming holes. Since 2020, we’ve welcomed guests for everything from relaxing vacation getaways and refreshing summer swims to weddings, concerts, festivals, and private retreats.

FAQ

Can we book Waterloo for weddings or private events year-round?

Our venue is open for bookings from mid-April through mid-November for weddings, baby showers, birthdays, family reunions, corporate events, and more. We offer various packages depending on group size and we can customize your own package to best suit your event and desires.

Do you offer overnight accommodations like camping or glamping?

Absolutely! We offer traditional camping, glamping, and boondock sites for guests looking to stay overnight. And for those who love truly roughing it, we’ve just opened The Cascades of Waterloo—a primitive camping area open to the elements where you bring your own gear and embrace nature in its rawest form. Whether you're here for a festival, a retreat, or a quiet weekend under the stars, we have an overnight experience to match your adventure level.

What amenities are included with vacation rentals or event bookings?

Our suite above the pavilion features a king bed, full kitchen and bath and makes for a cozy overnight stay. Glamping guests have access to restrooms and showers, along with seasonal use of the outdoor kitchen in the pavilion. Amenities vary by booking, so be sure to ask what's included with your package.

Can Waterloo host music festivals or concerts?

Waterloo is ideal for intimate performances and private concerts with a guest capacity of up to 200 people. It’s a great spot for Promoters looking for an unique location! Waterloo Venue also curates events of their own featuring Americana and original live music. Most events include free camping.

Do you provide event planning or vendor coordination services?

While we don’t offer full event planning in-house, we provide a preferred vendor list for catering, décor, entertainment, and more. Clients are welcome to use our recommendations or choose vendors of their own.
